So it’s been a while since Jesse Eisenberg was confirmed to portray one of the most iconic villains in comic history – Lex Luthor. Not everyone was warm to the casting, and some were just waiting to see how everything would play out. But whatever happens, the role has been cast and all that’s left to do is wait and see if Eisenberg turns out to be another Heath Ledger or Arnold Schwarzenegger.

- Lex believes Superman can die and that he is not immortal.
- Bruce sees Superman as a problem, but one that can be solved in a peaceful way. “One that doesn’t involve going toe to toe with a God.”
- “Lex doesn’t intend to go toe to toe with anybody because he believes you don’t get to be a general by charging the front lines with the rest of the troops.”
