EXCLUSIVE: "Detective Comics," "Batman/Superman" and "Lobo" Variants

Get an early jump on October with three DC Comics 1:25 variant covers all scheduled for release on Oct. 1, seen first on CBR.

Artist Cliff Chiang, who wraps his run on “Wonder Woman” with writer Brian Azzarello that same month, illustrates a variant for “Detective Comics” #35, the first part of a two-issue arc by visiting creative team of writer Ben Percy and artist John Paul Leon (Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato are scheduled to return in December). Matteo Scalera and Matt Hollingsworth take on a “Batman/Superman” #14 variant cover, the second part of the “Forgotten Heroes” story. And the debuting “Lobo” #1 gets a variant by Ben Oliver — the artist of “The Multiversity: The Just,” also out in October.
