The battle against DC Comics and Marvel Comics intensifies with the release of the giant companies’ superhero films. With the launch of “Batman V Superman” followed by “Captain America: Civil War,” it is quite inevitable that the two movies are being compared.

According to Times Record, “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Captain America: Civil War,” both contain a grand battle between renowned superheroes. There are Batman (Ben Affleck) against Superman (Henry Cavill) and Captain America (Chris Evans) opposed to Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).
‘Batman V Superman’ And ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Box Office Sales
Aside from the story, graphics, epic fight, “Batman V Superman” and “Captain America: Civil War” are being clashed for its respective box office hits. “Captain America: Civil War” kicked off with $181.8 million over the past weekend.
The 13th film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) surpasses the Marvel Studios’ blockbuster film of 2008 “Iron Man.” “Batman V Superman,” on the other hand, had $166.1 million on its debut weekend, Forbes noted.
“Batman V Superman” earned about $330 million in the U.S. alone while $875 million worldwide. It has been said these figures can easily exceed by “Captain America: Civil War.”
However, the “Captain America: Civil War” opening weekend is not that much bigger compared to “Batman V Superman.” But, the Marvel movie doesn’t have to wait for more sales to reach new success.
“Captain America: Civil War” already breaks the $200 million mark in the middle of the week in the U.S. In fact, by now, it earns better compared to its predecessor, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” globally, as per Cinema Blend.

“Batman V Superman” could be the most promising superhero film that a movie producer could hope for. With the combination of the three famed iconic superheroes; Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), it brought a lot of excitement to the pop culture that unfortunately, brought down by the critics.
Times Record, added “Batman V Superman” was given a negative remark and criticized by the movie goers. Fans revealed that the DC movie’s plot story was a “mess” and extremely overhype compared to “Captain America: Civil War.”
Some superhero film enthusiasts described “Captain America: Civil War” as an overall fun movie and full of witticism.
