It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s… Santa Claus!
Man of Steel star Henry Cavill showed off his Superman-strength on Friday, holding up a Rockefeller Center-sized Christmas tree with one hand.
The actor, 33, put his muscles to the test for the photo — which he captioned “Is this really he biggest tree you’ve got?”
Wearing a jeans, and army green hat, and a black DC Comics T-shirt, Cavill looks as if he’s here to save the world and Christmas. He added the hashtags “ChristmasSpiritActivated” and “#GotElves.”

Of course while Cavill is no doubt strong, the tree is likely being held from atop by a piece of machinery. Though don’t put anything past him. Cavill is in the next Justice League movie despite (spoiler alert!) his character ‘s death in the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
When he does return, he could be wearing the Man of Steel’s iconic black suit, which first appeared in the 1992 The Death and Return of Superman comics.
Fans will have to wait and see how Superman returns in the upcoming picture. Justice League hits theaters Nov. 17, 2017.
